Attorney B. Trey Morris of Morris, Dewett & Savoie, LLC in Shreveport,
Louisiana has been accepted into the Distinguished Justice Advocates (DJA)
for his work in personal injury law. DJA is a prestigious organization
that is committed to recognizing the legal professionals of America who
are constantly striving for excellence. Less than 1% of all attorneys
in America will be invited into the DJA and, currently, there are only
two attorneys in Louisiana in this group.
In order to be accepted into the Distinguished Justice Advocates, attorneys
must meet strict criteria requirements. Specifically, they must have a
history successful trial results, attain numerous honors and certifications
from other well-respected legal organizations, and be in good standing
with all state bars. Invitees must also be supported by multiple peer
recognitions from attorneys, judges, paralegals, and more. Other aspects
of the nominee’s professional career will be examined, including
relevant education and current CLE course completion, pro-bono work, and
any materials they have published.
DJA members are given access to a network of the nation’s top attorneys.
Members are encouraged to work together and communicate frequently, advancing
each member’s legal prowess through cohesion and professional interaction.
They may also take it upon themselves to review other attorneys in their
area or field of practice, nominating those who would be fine candidates
to the DJA.
Attorney B. Trey Morris enjoys this unique distinction, along with other
accolades he has received and achieved in the past. In 2015, for example,
he was given the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys 2015
10 Best award for his skill and ethics. He has also been recently nominated
to the Top 10 Under 40 Attorneys of Louisiana by the National Academy
of Personal Injury Attorneys.
